Amy Gear is an artist and poet living in Shetland.

Her practice explores interrelationships between land and the body, knotting together notions of identity, language, knowledge and imagination. 

She works across a broad range of media: performance, writing, printmaking, painting, photography, drawing, digital film, sound, poetry and installation.

She is a co-director of Gaada and alumnus of the Royal College of Art.
